Privacy policy
Last updated October 6, 2026
Seven Stack Tech Inc. ("Seven Stack Tech") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information Seven Stack Tech collects, why, and the choices you have. Seven Stack Tech follows the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What is collected
- When you get in touch: your name, email address, company, and anything you include in your message. The contact form opens your own email app, so this information is received only when you send the email. While you type, a draft is kept in your own browser so it isn't lost if you leave the page; it is not sent anywhere and is removed when you close the tab.
- When you become a client: billing contact details and the information needed to deliver your project.
- When you visit this website: the hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security and troubleshooting. No advertising cookies are used, and your information is never sold.
How it is used
Your information is used to reply to you, prepare quotes, deliver and support projects, send invoices, and meet legal and tax obligations. It is not used for anything else without your consent.
Who it is shared with
Information is shared only with service providers that help run the business, such as email, hosting, and accounting providers, and only as much as they need. Some providers may store data outside Canada, where it may be subject to local laws. Personal information is never sold.
Client project data
Data handled while building your project stays in accounts you own wherever possible, is accessed only as the project requires, and is covered by the terms of your contract with Seven Stack Tech.
How long it is kept
Enquiries are kept for up to two years, and client records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. After that, they are deleted or anonymized.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information Seven Stack Tech holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or withdraw consent to its use, subject to legal limits. Email privacy@7stacktech.com and you will receive a response within 30 days.
If you're not satisfied with the response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
